UConn has landed its third transfer from a BCS school already in this young Paul Pasqualoni era.

Redshirt freshman Alex Mateas, a 6-3, 202 pound offensive lineman is a young man UConn had previously recruited and offered a scholarship out of high school in Canada.

Word is, the young man just wasn't happy in Happy Valley.

He'll have three years of eligibility beginning next seasons.
